Coaching helps you to think more broadly, be more effective, and find your own solutions to close the gap between your current situation and what you want it to be. It also helps you plan for the future. Along the way, you will become more self-aware and positive about the future.
Supported and challenged, my clients can lead with greater confidence, plan careers, broaden competence, improve performance and that of their organisation, increase resilience and wellbeing, learn to celebrate achievements, however challenging the current circumstances.
Listening – and asking questions – is the core part of the coaching experience. I know that my clients have the answers within themselves, and with my skilled support you can explore your situation, calmly consider options and, if appropriate, what might be holding you back and work through any particular issues that might emerge. Coaching helps you to unleash your self-belief, and to unlock and achieve your own ultimate potential.
The coaching process is usually a short-lived intervention, with sessions happening at regular, normally monthly, intervals over a series or course whose length is agreed at the outset. The relationship is one of equals, not that of a ‘doctor/patient’. And it is confidential.
